On 16 March 2001 our childrenclinic has be opened in Arequipa, second biggest town in southern Peru.

The travelclinic will be (financialy) supporting the projects of the Fundación PAZ- Holandesa.

The city of Arequipa has 1.000.000 inhabitants. From Lima it is a one hour flight to the Ciudad Blanca, the old centre in which the houses are built from white lava stone. Arequipa is situated on the foot of the - still active - volcano Misti.
Daily there are several flights to and from Lima, Cuzco (45 minutes) and Puno (20 minutes). Most tourists participating in one of the organised trips to Peru stay in Arequipa at least several days to visit the Colca Cayon.

Our clinic is situated in a building just outside the centre. Means of communication, such as telephone, fax and internet are operational. Our service will be expanded during the forthcoming months.
