Voor de maanden september en oktober hebben we twee plastisch-chirurgische operatieprojecten gepland. Er zijn al 60 patientjes geselecteerd voor het ondergaan van een operatie. De 60 patientjes komen ut het gehele Zuiden van Peru en met name uit het Andesgebergte. Zij leven onder extreme armoede. De meesten van hen lijden dan ook aan ondervoeding, wat logischerwijs een negatief effect heeft op hun algemene gezondheidstoestand. Door het geven van extra voeding worden zij op gewicht gebracht en verbetert zodoende ook de gezondheid.We have planned two plastic-surgery projects for the months October and November. We have already selected more than 60 patients for these coming projects. 60 Children from the whole of the South of Peru, especially children from the Andes form the majority of our population. They live under very poor conditions, most of them suffer malnutrition, which affects their health condition considerably.
