Deze beelden vertellen het verhaal van 25 jaar inzet voor Peruaanse kinderen die zonder hulp geen toegang zouden hebben tot medische zorg en nazorg.Wat in 1999 begon als een initiatief, werd mogelijk dankzij vertrouwen, samenwerking en betrokkenheid van velen — donateurs, vrijwilligers, medische teams en lokale partners. Met grote dankbaarheid staan wij stil bij alles wat samen is gerealiseerd. ✨ Wij wensen iedereen een gelukkig en vooral gezond nieuwjaar. Dank voor het vertrouwen en de verbondenheid. ✨
In deze kersttijd staan we stil bij wat echt telt, zorg voor elkaar, hoop geven en samen het verschil maken. Dankzij de inzet van onze vrijwilligers, medische teams, donateurs en partners hebben ook dit jaar weer kinderen in Peru toegang gekregen tot levensveranderende zorg. Dat is niet vanzelfsprekend – en juist daarom zo bijzonder.
Wij wensen iedereen warme en liefdevolle kerstdagen.
Samen blijven we bouwen aan kansen voor kinderen die dat het hardst nodig hebben.
Van 15 t/m 19 december zijn in Arequipa 18 kinderen met een schisis geopereerd door het team van Dr.Francisco Parri,plastisch chirurg, FES Fundacion Barcelona en bestond verder uit Dr.Joseh Rubio, Dr.Albert Malet, kaakchirurgen, Dr.Josexto, Dr.Borja, anesthesisten, Dr.Montse Bonnet, tandarts en Pilar, ok-assistent
Vijf intensieve dagen waarin een internationaal en lokaal team samenwerkte met één doel: kinderen een betere start en toekomst geven.
Achter elke operatie schuilt een persoonlijk verhaal — en een kind dat nu kan eten, spreken en groeien met meer vertrouwen.
