2007 was vooral een bijzonder jaar. De bouw van het ‘Tony Molleapaza Rojas’ kinderziekenhuis in volle gang. De planning was om afgelopen oktober de ruwbouw klaar te hebben. Maar zoals dat bij bouwen gebruikelijk is, moest de planning bijgesteld worden. Dit jaar zelfs drie operatieprojecten uitgevoerd en zijn er totaal 124 kinderen geopereerd. Het aantal polikliniekbezoeken is gestegen tot ruim 8500. Mede door de uitbreiding van fysiotherapeutische behandelingen. De wekelijkse voedseldonaties aan de kindertehuizen Chavez de la Rosa (ruim 60 kinderen) en Sabandya (ruim 40 kinderen) werden in het afgelopen jaar verstrekt. Daarnaast steeg het aantal medicijn,medische materialen en draindonaties aan de ziekenhuizen Hospital Goyeneche, Hospital General en andere ziekenhuizen in het zuiden van Peru tot ruim 4500.

In maart 2006 werd het operatieproject uitgevoerd door het team wat bestond uit Michiel Vaandrager, plastisch chirurg, Frederik van Oosterom, idem, Antonia Gonzalez, anaesthesiste, Nanny Monteau, anaesthesie-assistent, Clara Euson en Gerdi Drost, beiden ok-assistenten. Zij hebben 50 operaties verricht.

Vrijdag 10 juni werd het eerste orthopedisch operatie project afgesloten. In twee weken tijd hebben dr.Ger Olyhoek en zijn team bestaande uit Dr.Jos Geurts, anaesthesist, Leo Brugman, anaesthesie-assistent en Titia Olyhoek, ok-assistente, 30 patientjes succesvol geopereerd, totaal ruim 60 operaties.
